Base camp
Tokachi Base Club sits in Kamifurano, about 25 minutes from Tokachidake, Furanodake and Furano Ski Resort. It is where our winter starts every morning and ends every night: sleep here, eat here, pick up your gear here, and head out to some of the lightest powder in Hokkaido.
Everything lives under one roof: the lodge, the bar and restaurant, our gear showroom and the Yukiumi backcountry rental shop.
The lodge
Five rooms for riders who want to wake up close to the mountains:
Breakfast is served every morning there are guests, and our Sea of Snow tour is based here.
Bar & restaurant
When the touring day is done, the bar and restaurant open their doors to everyone: lodge guests, locals and visitors to Kamifurano. Swap stories from the skin track over a bubbling hot pot, plan tomorrow's line, grab a guitar or a ping-pong paddle, and share a drink with guides and the local crew.
The bar and restaurant open in the evening, so the whole team is out skiing by day.
Showroom & rental shop
Open to everyone, our showroom displays mountain gear from the brands we ride with, and our rental shop sets you up for the backcountry: OGSO touring skis, splitboards, skins, touring boots and avalanche safety packs with beacon, shovel and probe.
The shop is open every day from 16:00 to 22:00. Rental is pickup only, so collect your gear the evening before your first day out.
